Ryna leads the Partnerships and Communications at the Global Innovation Fund, based in the London office. Ryna brings over 25 years of leadership experience across foundations, INGOs and local grassroots organisations spanning conservation, human rights, WASH and education. Most recently Ryna was interim CEO for Geneva-based Unearthodox Foundation working at the intersections of conservation, social justice and social innovation.
Her contributions also include leading significant growth as Director of Fundraising and Communications at the oldest human rights organisation in the world, Anti-Slavery International and contributing to the rapidly growing programme at WaterAid.
Ryna has spent a number of years based in South and South East Asia, working for a USAID local capacity development programme in Vietnam, women and girls’ empowerment across Afghanistan, India and MENA, and anti-human-trafficking and education projects in India and Nepal.
Ryna holds a MSc Econ from the School of African and Asian Studies.
