Joseph Ssentongo appointed CEO of the Global Innovation Fund.

Joseph Ssentongo has been formally confirmed as Chief Executive Officer of the Global Innovation Fund, with immediate effect. His appointment was ratified by the GIF Board when it met last week and follows a rigorous executive search and selection process.

Speaking on behalf of the Board, GIF Chair James Clark said: 

“Since stepping into the role of Acting CEO last year, Joseph has demonstrated exceptional leadership, vision, and a deep commitment to GIF’s growth and success. His experience and dedication to our mission give us confidence in his ability to guide GIF through the opportunities and challenges ahead.

Joseph thanked the GIF board for its support and said:
