Cillian Moynihan

Cillian is GIF’s Deputy General Counsel and oversees all legal and governance matters relating to GIF’s investments. As Deputy GC, Cillian is responsible for structuring and negotiating all GIF’s risk capital investments around the globe, managing all existing investments and advising the GIF board, investment team and executive team on all related issues. Cillian manages all legal and regulatory processes relating to GIF’s investments and works to ensure compliance with regulations in every relevant jurisdiction.

Prior to joining GIF, Cillian worked as a partner in the Corporate M&A team of Kirkland & Ellis in London, advising private equity funds, corporates and venture-capital funds on a variety of investments around the world. He also has experience working for non-profit organisations in Kenya and Madagascar.
