Russell Siegelman is GIF’s board chair. He spent eleven years in venture capital as a Partner at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, where he invested in consumer and technology markets. He also has seven years of high tech experience at Microsoft, where he helped launch several networking and Windows products. In the non-profit area, he is the Chairman of the Board of Sustainable Conservation and was formerly a Director of Innovations for Poverty Action. Currently, Russ teaches for-profit and social entrepreneurship, and marketing at Stanford Business School.
